General & Acceptance Conditions
This text defines the operation of the online store Cru Loja and explains its conditions of sale. The store Cru Loja is an e-commerce site dedicated to the sale of projects from creative and independent designers.
When processing an order directly on the website, by telephone or by e-mail, the customer automatically agrees to the general conditions of sale and the following states to agree and have knowledge of the same.
Access to our website
Cru Loja does everything in its power to ensure that access to its website is uninterrupted and that all communications are free from errors. However, due to the nature of the Internet, we can not be sure. In addition, access to the website may be interrupted occasionally for repairs, maintenance or the introduction of new services or products. We will try that any interruption or suspension of services are infrequent and of short duration.
All items available in the Cru Loja store are indicated with the sale price including VAT at the legal rate in Portugal and excluding shipping costs. If you live outside Portugal, please be aware that Customs in your country may charge you additional customs fees. These fees are not the responsibility of Cru Loja and may vary between countries. Please check with the customs of your country before placing an order.
Payment methods – PayPal
Made directly on the Paypal website. It is the easiest and safest way to make payments without exposing the number of your credit card or bank account.
Payment methods – Bank transfer
Bank transfers have to be made within 72 hours. Please send us an email confirmation from your bank to firstname.lastname@example.org if you are using your home banking platform. Any orders where payment has not been received within 72 hours will be cancelled. Our bank details will be displayed once you have completed the checkout process.
Terms of Delivery
The store Cru Loja accepts orders from all over the world, and the conditions and shipping costs differ depending on the location and weight of your order.
Shipping prices for orders to be delivered are automatically calculated on our website and displayed in your shopping cart.
Delivery times depend on your location, the item you have ordered and the delivery method being used. Products will be shipped via CTT or Target International.
License to use the site
Cru Loja gives you a limited license to access and use the site cruloja.pt except for the modification or discharge (except where clearly specified) of all or part of it without the written consent of Cru Loja. This license does not allow resale or commercial use of this site or its contents; any use of any product listings, descriptions, prices or other content that are not in the public domain; any modified use of the site or its contents that is not public domain; any discharge (download) or copy account information for personal benefit of third parties; any use of data mining tools, robots, or extraction tools and compiling similar data. This site or any excerpt of it may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, or otherwise exploited for commercial purposes without the written permission of Cru Loja. We ask that Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest etc.) users who use our content publicly to clearly label the source (Cru Loja) of the content.
You should not use the site cruloja.pt in a manner that causes, or may cause problems in the use of the Website or cause interruptions in availability. Users, not Cru Loja, are responsible for all electronic communications and content sent from your computer to cruloja.pt and may only use the website for lawful purposes. The website may not be used for the following purposes:
- Carry out fraudulent or related illegal activity;
- To send, use or reuse any material that is unlawful, offensive, abusive, defamatory, obscene or menacing, or that infringes copyright, confidence, privacy or any other rights acquired, or send material that contains software viruses, political propaganda, commercial solicitation, chain mail, bulk email or “spam”.
Availability of products
It may happen that the ordered product is no longer in stock. In this case, the customer will be informed of the new deadline and can decide whether to wait or cancel the order.
All promotions undertaken by the store, are subject to availability. Cru Loja reserves the right to cancel or change promotions at any time.
We guarantee that all products are sent without any anomaly and properly packaged. We cannot assume any responsibility for any damage caused during transport. The customer must, upon arrival of the order, check the condition and should you notice an anormality in the packaging, you must write a detailed description of the damage on the delivery slip and refuse the delivery. Please contact us immediately to resolve the issue alongside with the carriers.
Returns & Exchanges
By law you have fourteen (14) days to return products without explanation. This is know as “The Cooling Off Period”. The product must be returned in it’s original packaging, no signs of use and re-sellable condition. If for any reason the order is returned, the customer is responsible for paying the return postage. In case of exchanges, the shipping costs and any difference in value are the responsibility of the customer.

Errors and Omissions
Cru Loja reserves the right to change prices, promotions or other issues related to pricing, discounts or promotions without prior notice.

cruloja.pt may publish on the site, links to other sites which we hope will be of interest to our customers. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for the content of these sites, whose owners do not necessarily have any connection, commercial or otherwise, with Cru Loja. Visiting the links is entirely at your own risk.
Cru Loja keeps together a database of personal data provided by customers. We do not disclose it to others or use the data for any purpose other than the processing of orders. Customers may at any time exercise the right of access, modification, update and deletion of their data, under the Personal Data Protection Act.
Cru Loja uses Google Analytics on cruloja.pt, which is a piece of software that compiles data of visitors to the site.
What does Google Analytics record?
- What website a user came from to get to cruloja.pt;
- How long a user stayed for;
- What kind of computer and browser a user is using.
What do we do with this data?
The tracking information allows Cru Loja to better understand the kind of users coming to the website and what content they are reading. This allows us to make better decisions about the design and content of our website, to make it more relevant to our customers.
Occasionally, we will compile aggregate statistics about the number of visitors this site receives and browsers being used. No personally identifying data is included in this type of reporting. All our activity falls within the bounds of the Google Analytics Terms of Service

All our stock can be found online on our website. Pieces can also be viewed in person in our store in Porto. If you are after a particular piece which we currently do not stock, please get in touch and we’ll try to source it for you.

Our product pages contain as much detail as possible, so you have plenty of information. If you still cannot find the information you need, please contact us and we will be happy to answer your questions.
Feel free to visit our store too. We are there to help and advise you and you can view the items in person. Please note the opening times of our showroom: Monday to Saturday 10am to 20pm.
DELIVERY & RETURNS
Where do you delivery to?
We can ship our stock worldwide. More information can be found on our Shipping & Delivery page.

Can I collect my order from your store in Porto?
Yes you can. Please note, once an order has been placed, we need to prepare your order. Please contact us before you place your order through the website.

How long will it take for my order to be delivered?
Small items are normally shipped within 48 hours. We will contact you with delivery estimates for larger items once you have placed your order.
Does someone need to be present at the delivery address to accept the delivery?
Yes, it is necessary for someone to be available to accept delivery, regardless of the delivery option you selected.
If your order is sent via CTT or courier and should you not be present when the delivery arrives, a note will be left so you can arrange re-delivery or instructions to go and pick up your parcel from the nearest delivery office.

What should I do when a courier delivers my order?
When your order arrives, check the condition of your order before the delivery driver leaves. If you notice a problem, write a detailed description of the damage on the delivery slip and refuse the delivery. We will contact you once the courier has reported back.
There is a problem with one of the items I received. What should I do?
In the first instance, please contact us to discuss the problem.
What is the procedure for returning items and obtaining a refund?
If you would like to return or exchange an item, please do so within 14 days, starting on the day you received your order. To request an exchange or a refund, please send us an e-mail to let us know in advance.
All orders are supplied with a returns/exchange form. Please fill it in and return it to the address supplied along with the items in unused condition and their original packaging. Shipping costs are non-refundable and it is your responsibility to cover the cost of returning the item. We also advise to use recorded delivery to assure that the item is not lost in the post.
Alternatively, you can return/exchange the item in our store in Porto. Please contact us to arrange a suitable time. Please note that refunds will have to be made via the original payment method.
How do I place an order?
As you select each item to purchase, click the “Add to Cart” button. When you have added all your items, click the “View Cart” icon at the top of the screen. You can then view all of the items you have selected, along with their price, quantities and the total amount of your order. Before continuing with your order, you can, if you wish, add an item, withdraw an item, or change the quantities.
You should also check that every product can be delivered to your home by the usual means of access (stairway, lift and door). To do so, carefully check the dimensions of each piece of furniture before you order. The dimensions are shown on the description page for each piece.
To continue your order, simply click the “Continue” button. You will then have to go through a simple 2 step checkout process.
- Step 1: Enter your e-mail and billing/shipping address. Click “Continue to next step”.
- Step 2: Select your shipping method (either via courier or pick up from our shop), your payment method (PayPal for credit cards or Bank Transfer). Click the “Complete my purchase” button.
- You will receive an order confirmation via e-mail.
I do not want to order over the Internet. Can I purchase the same items at your store in Porto?
All our stock is kept in our Porto store, however, it would be helpful for us if you could let us know in advance, which piece you’d like to purchase, so we can reserve it and it is available on the day of your visit.
How do I cancel or change my order?
If you have not received our email confirming that your item has been shipped, please contact us straight away so we can cancel your order before it is shipped.

What means of payment do you accept?
We accept the following payment methods:
Payments are made via the Paypal website. You do not need to have an account with Paypal to make a purchase. Using Paypal is safe and secure. Payments are free of charge.
Bank transfers have to be made within 72 hours. Any order where payment has not been received within 72 hours will be cancelled. If you are paying by bank transfer, please send us an email confirmation from your bank to firstname.lastname@example.org if you are using your home banking platform.
I’m paying by bank transfer. When will my order be shipped?
If you are paying by bank transfer, please send us an email confirmation from your bank to email@example.com if you are using your home banking platform. We can then ship your order straight away. If we do not receive a confirmation that the transfer has been made, your order will only be shipped once the funds have cleared in our bank account.
